1. The Pearl of Siberia

3. Putorana Plateau

4. The Curonian Split

The next Russian mysterious natural wonder is the shimmering sand dunes and wide of the Curonian split. The beaches are the highlights of the Curonian Split. It separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea coast then stretch from Kaliningrad Oblast up to Lithuania.

The long green brown view from the sky is a glimpse of the natural wonders of mother nature. The Curonian Split is the highest drifting sand dunes in Europe, some of which can get up to nearly 200 feet in height.

5. Kungur Ice Cave

7. Uzon Caldera

Near Maly Semyachik and the Valley of the Geysers is the natural wonders of Uzon Caldera, a vast field of geothermal craters and active volcanoes. The Caldera stretch over 6,200 miles and contains mud cauldrons, freshwater lakes, a berry tundra, and a birch forest. The view is amazingly unique and diverse. However, the mud cauldrons are poisonous and home to some of the world’s most extreme bacteria.  It is drawn back from this great natural view.

8. Dancing Forest

There is no explanation of the strange contortions in the trunks of these pine trees on Kruglaya dune. Between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon, there is a forest where the trees seem a little bit “drunk” and make a twist.

Dozens of trees have trunks that are contorted into rings, spirals, and other loops and squiggles. Originally, the government plant trees to stabilize the dune sand. However, the unstable sands may cause this bizarre forest.

9. Psychedelic Salt Mines

The dizzying patterns in this abandoned mine are all natural. Moreover, This flame of mind-bending natural formations found 650 feet below the Russian city of Yekaterinburg. The abandoned salt mine are covered with amazing psychedelic patterns. It caused by the natural layers of mineral carnallite creating a unique swirl throughout the colored rock.
